My Top 7 Mindset Hacks to start preparing for next year
Hi *|FNAME|*
This time of year I start to feel excited about the opportunity of the new year so I thought I would share my 7 Steps to finish your year on a high. I’ve already started my 2019 planning and I urge you to do the same. Hopefully these tips will help you start to create a foundation for success and help give you some focus for the end of the year.
1. Acknowledge 2018
Spend some time looking back through the year. When were you the most happy? When did you experience the most joy? When were you feeling most at peace? What do you know now about yourself that you didn’t know last year? How have you changed?
2. Release
We’re all human and we will all experience moments we don’t feel great about. It’s important for you to release any bad feeling you have about things that have happened this year. Write a list of the negative events/situations/thoughts/feelings that you’ve had this year. Making a list of these resentments will be the moment that you agree with yourself to let go and release them from weighing us down into next year.
3. Design your life
Without limiting yourself or worrying about the how/why/when, create a list of your desires. Think about what you want your life to look like. Use the following headers: work – relationships – money – health – wellbeing – self-development. Give yourself permission to dream big and see what you come up with!
4. Set goals
Use your life design to start to set goals. Take these goals and break them down into actions that will help you achieve these goals. What do you need to do to achieve your dreams? What do you need to change the most? What can you do to improve this area of your business/life?
5. Stop sabotaging yourself
To ensure success in 2019 you need to kick the habit of self sabotage. The first step in doing this is writing a list of your limiting beliefs. This could be anything from ‘Am I good enough?’ to ‘Nobody will pay my prices.’ Awareness of self sabotage is the first step to quitting the habit you’ve formed with this belief.
6. Create new habits
If you don’t already have one then I recommend creating a new daily routine. I take 20 minutes before I start my day and use this time for meditation/visualisation and journalling. Without doubt, this daily routine enables me to have more productive, more focused and more structured days.
7. Make a change
If you do the same things next year that you’ve done this year, the result will be the same. If you’re looking for more, you need to find the parts of your life that you need to change. If you need help with this please let me know. Coaching is often the first step for people to start the journey of change.
Please let me know how you get on with your planning!
With love,
Faye x
