I’ve been where you are
I put in more than a decade climbing the corporate ladder, knowing there was something more fulfilling out there for me. I decided to go for it, to take the leap, and to start up my wedding photography business, Faye Cornhill Photography. To start with, I, too, felt that horrible sense of overwhelm. I made mistakes (lots of them). I missed the comfort of a pay cheque at the end of the month. But then I started to learn, to focus my mind and to utilise some of the techniques I’d mastered in my corporate life. Soon, my business was blossoming, and before long other photographers and wedding suppliers were coming to me for advice.
Now, corny as it sounds, I really am living my dream. I have an internationally recognised photography business, and I’ve coached dozens of other wedding businesses and creative entrepreneurs on how they can make their dreams realities, too.
I’m not special. I’m not superwoman. I didn’t get a magic fast pass to success. I am, however a believer in passion, patience and persistence; and that with consistent hard work, the right mindset, and a push in the right direction, I truly believe that you too will have a booming business that surpasses all of your expectations.
